A Must For Success- Heartbreak

There are a number of articles and a thousand ways to be successful over internet. And yet many philosophers would tell you about Time Management, Skill Development, Aptitude and what not to become a "big man". But I am going to talk about something else. We all have some tough times in our life. We all face many hardships in the coarse of living 70 years of lifespan, on an average. And what do we feel at that very point when we break into pieces, when our world shatters completely, when we couldn't see any ray of hope, that would change our life and actions? We find ourselves submerged deep into the pool of sorrow, misery and failures. We feel as if everything has ended for us. We feel as if we are finished. Now what is positive at that point? My answer is very simple- When you have nothing to loose , you have no fear no weakness. You  are at a peak of emotions, you are standing at a cliff from where either you can fall down or fly high. That was the point at which...

Empty Spaces

Life is Vacant..... We read newspaper and we find a number of vacancies in it. What do we do then? We see those ones which are relevant either to our job preference or our fondness. Same are our lives nowadays. In the midst of highly developed technologies like android phones, laptops, 3G speed data facility and so on...we feel vacant, we feel something is missing. What is it ? money? job? success? health? happiness? or satisfaction . While teaching in class 10 today I came across the word "fascinating", there was an 8 yr old girl who was fascinated by the passing of a bus from the street. And I thought and thought over again. What fascinates me? The answer was all silence spread inside me. If a small girl gets fascinated by a very usual thing that is passing of a bus, why can't I be fascinated . This is what creates the Empty Space. We have everything- money, job, family, friends, success and satisfaction. But we lack the interest, we lack the zeal, we are dev...

Speak Cautiously

Mind your words... A few days back one of my prominent well wishers told that someone said something wrong about you and I became furious, I felt as if my blood was literally boiling. Then emerged numerous ideas of taking revenge in the same way and for next few hours I was constantly thinking of all the possible weaknesses of that person. It is human nature that when someone does something wrong to us we tend to do the same to that person. That night I tried hard to sleep but I couldn't. I was pondering over the whole thing and I realized that this is just not who I am. It seemed quite ridiculous that  I was about to do the same thing that I hated most. Its like you are walking on a road and dogs bark at you, what do you do? Do you bark back at them? Obviously not. Why? Because we know that it is the characteristic feature of a dog to bark, we just can't expect anything much better from  it. Same is gossiping. All that you need to do is just IGNORE it. B...

Crying Over Spilled Milk

Time is Money... The quote is cent percent true. Time is everything and once it is passed it becomes past  forever. I realised the depth of this thought while watching a very popular reality show of India-Big Boss. Recently a contestant was evicted from the show because she did nothing in the house. Though she was a girl with golden heart but she proved herself to be a misfit for the show. She went out with weeping eyes and a heavy heart. While she was sulking I kept on thinking that where was she wrong? After doing a bit of pondering, eventually I got the answer. She didn't realise the golden opportunity that she got while she was in the house. She could have come up there with flying colours but she missed the chance , and she actually missed her destination knocking at her door, waiting for her eagerly. This is exactly what happens with all of us. The moment that we live in, we take it for granted. But when it goes away, when present becomes past ,the future throws at us nu...

An Idle Mind is an Artist's Workshop

Leisure is the Need of the Hour... Its no more true that an idle mind is the devil's workshop , I have personally experienced that all good ideas come when I am sitting idle doing nothing. I suppose all the artists would agree upon this. Because its very difficult to do something creative and different when we are busy in doing our work. But when we sit quietly and enjoy our own company ,that is the time when we realize the hidden potential in us, that is the time when we think of our dreams, that is the time when thoughts emerge and that is the time when we get refreshed. In this world where we all are tucked into our tight schedules and in the midst of 9 to 5 jobs we rarely find time for us and our relationships. So I call this ''Leisure'' as the need of each and every individual  to grow and prosper. It is a very effective tool for self introspection. It provides us with a number of solutions for the day to day problems that we consider as the apocalypse of...

Insensitively Religious

I feel happy that I am not so religious. The reason behind it is what is the use of being religious if you fail to understand the actual purpose of it. RELIGION... people have learned to use this term for wish fulfillment or as a source of liberty to do what they want . Unfortunately, most of us fail to understand its real meaning. Whether it is my religion Islam , my neighbour's religion Christianity or any other religion like Hinduism, Jainism,Buddhism, none of them teach us to be 'Insensitive' . I saw yesterday, there was a girl doing manual work and in the same house there was a lady who calls herself very religious, she had the electrical resources to do the same task but she lacked sensitivity. She didn't help her. The girl was tired but she did her work for hours, the so called 'Religious lady' was resting. Religion teaches us to be sensitive towards our fellow beings. It teaches us to help one another. It teaches us to understand others' feelin...

RAISE YOUR VOICE

Today, I am going to share an incident that taught me to stand for the right. Two days back,I had to go to a nearby place and I decided to go by train. The departure of that particular train was at 8:00 AM from my station. I didn't want to be late so I decided to leave my place at 7:30 .Then at the railway crossing I was stuck for half an hour which was quite unusual in a small town like mine. At that very moment I understood why people criticise and oppose the govt.  and why they do strikes. Its not for their personal motives but its for the comforts of others.  Frankly speaking, I did never believe in speaking for others and taking stand unless the matter bumps my head.Because I considered it as poking my nose into others matters.  But my perspective did change when I was the one to suffer.  Anyhow I reached the place where train stopped in the outskirts of my town, huffing puffing I boarded the train. Now there was no seat except the one on which a lady ...
